Optimality and Sub - Optimality Ofiterative Identification and Controldesign Schemes

چکیده
We demonstrate that some recently proposed iterative identiication and control design schemes do not necessarily converge to a local minimum of the design objective in the case of a restricted complexity model. There is, however, a link between these approaches and a recently proposed iterative optimization based control design procedure based on experimental data. We show that if the achieved and the desired output responses are perfectly matched, the schemes are (essentially) equivalent under noise free conditions.

Sequential Optimality Conditions and Variational Inequalities
In recent years, sequential optimality conditions are frequently used for convergence of iterative methods to solve nonlinear constrained optimization problems. The sequential optimality conditions do not require any of the constraint qualications. In this paper, We present the necessary sequential complementary approximate Karush Kuhn Tucker (CAKKT) condition for a point to be a solution of a ...
متن کاملOptimality conditions for Pareto efficiency and proper ideal point in set-valued nonsmooth vector optimization using contingent cone
In this paper, we first present a new important property for Bouligand tangent cone (contingent cone) of a star-shaped set. We then establish optimality conditions for Pareto minima and proper ideal efficiencies in nonsmooth vector optimization problems by means of Bouligand tangent cone of image set, where the objective is generalized cone convex set-valued map, in general real normed spaces.
متن کاملOptimal input design for system identification using spectral decomposition
The aim of this paper is to design a band-limited optimal input with power constraints for identifying a linear multi-input multi-output system. It is assumed that the nominal system parameters are specified. The key idea is to use the spectral decomposition theorem and write the power spectrum as φu(jω) = 1 2 H(jω)H∗(jω). The matrix H(jω) is expressed in terms of a truncated basis for L ([−ωcu...
